Rashid is a highly skilled, and creative cinematographer passionate about producing engaging, and captivating imagery. His proficiency with a wide range of camera equipment and cutting-edge technology allows him to push the boundaries of cinematography, experimenting with lighting, and composition. He approaches each project with dedication, and enthusiasm, and his collaborative nature makes him a cherished member of any film or commercial production. He understands the importance of effective communication, and time management which allows him to express his creative ideas to a director to create harmony on set. Through his unwavering commitment to his craft, Rashid's work reflects a unique combination of technical expertise and deep comprehension of visual storytelling.

During his studies in photography and the art of design at the Maryland Institute College of Arts he was introduced by his counselor to Dean Alexander, an award winning photographer and director. He began assisting Alexander and managing his studio. Rashid was a camera operator for many of Dean’s advertising, fashion, documentary and commercial productions. He worked with Alexander for several years on over a hundred award winning projects. He began shooting documentaries and advertisements with other Directors of Photography in the Maryland area before moving to Los Angeles to continue his journey as a visual artist.
